Edoardo's apartment in the heart of the best shopping area of Rome was an excellent location with good security. Apartment has been updated and decorated in a Roman antique decor. Bed size is not an American King size, but closer to a Queen. Pull out couch bed utilized also and was helpful to have with sick family member. Kitchen size small, but highly functional (also stocked with starter essentials). Not much sunshine inside apartment, except living room, due to interior location of apartment within building. Everything in Rome is crammed into old buildings and natural light source would be an issue anywhere in Rome. Edoadro was one of the best owner/host we have every encountered. He was very helpful, communicated well and helped us with tours. He even helped us check-in earlier due to my son being sick and miserable! His recommendations for restaurants were very helpful and great! Building has small elevator to help move Luggage. Highly recommend Edoardo's Gallo's place!!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the remarkable Alta Luxury Apartments - Spagna during our family vacation in Rome, and we couldn't be more delighted with our experience. Our family enjoyed leisurely strolls around the historic city, exploring the nearby Spanish Steps and taking in the breathtaking sights. Can't say enough about Alta Luxury Apartments and our host Edoardo. We enjoyed staying in this roomy yet cozy apartment that's a 2 minute walk from the Spanish Steps! The automatic built-in cappuccino/coffee machine was a huge hit as well. The beds were comfy and we slept well after full days of touring and sightseeing. This area is a shoppers dream come true. We couldn't have picked a better location for exploring Rome. The apartment is within easy walking distance from not only the Spanish Steps but Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo, Borghese Gallery and Museum, Piazza Navona and Piazza del Popolo. It's about a 20-25 minute walk to the Roman Forum and Colosseum. We had no trouble making the walk and even stopped into an amazing bakery along the way for breakfast. If walking is not your thing there is a cab stand literally a 30 second walk from the front door. We had no issues getting a cab at any time. Oh, and don't forget to book your tours through them as well. We took three tours utilizing the Alta Luxury Apartments web site for booking and had top notch service with Edoardo and amazing guides who pointed us to all the interesting sights and explained in detail the incredible facts associated with them. We highly recommend Alta Luxury Apartments - Spagna!

We were blown away by Eduardo's flat in Rome. This was our first time visiting Rome and we didn't know anything about the city prior to our stay. Communication with Eduardo and his team was wonderful. Ed met us at the apartment and filled us in on everything we needed to know. He even left us a list of all his personal favorite restaurants in the area. The apartment is right near the major shopping street in Rome--down the street from the Spanish Steps. The location couldn't have been more perfect. We had amazing restaurants, bistros, gelato shops and historical sites all within walking distance. The apartment was gorgeous. Big, spacious, airy, recently renovated and very comfortable for our family of three. Everything from the furniture, the real gold-leaf on the walls, the gorgeous floor paneling from Venice, the ultra-modern kitchen and bathrooms--everything was absolutely perfect. If and when we return to Rome, we will definitely give Eduardo a call and see if this amazing apartment is available. Grazie!

This was the second time we have rented from Edoardo. He is the quintessential host - - very accommodating, kind, and helpful. A true gentleman. In 2019, we stayed for a week at Frezza with another couple. More recently, my husband and I stayed at Spagna for 8 days. Both apartments are in excellent locations and perfect in every way. Spagna's well lighted living room is attractively decorated with lots of comfortable seating and a flatscreen TV with Netflix and more. The kitchen has high end appliances and a wonderful Nespresso machine. We loved enjoying coffee every morning. While Edoardo leaves a nice selection to get you started, there is a Nespresso shop steps from the apartment and the coffee is less than half what we pay in the US. The bedrooms are nicely appointed with fabulous custom closets and more than ample drawer space. The two bathrooms are sparkling clean and up to date. You will feel right at home as the apartment is equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, a dishwasher, washer and dryer, drying rack, along with an iron and ironing board. Edoardo has thought of everything! Spagna's location is in a beautiful area of Rome, by the Spanish Steps and within walking distance to all the famous sites. Look no further! My family of 4 had a great stay in Edoardo's apartment. He met us at check-in which was perfectly smooth. The apartment is beautiful and exactly as pictured. We had trouble with the espresso machine the first morning and sent Edoardo a message- he responded immediately and "trouble-shot" the problem sending us photos of how to fix it. He was extremely responsive and even met us at check out to help with the bags and car that he had booked for us. We would all highly recommend this apartment- we walked everywhere from the central location. We did not have to take public transportation once. We also booked tours through the service he provides and our guide, Marta, made our trip to Rome. She was all-knowing and answered all of our (many) questions. She even followed up by email after our final tour after researching something that we had discussed that day. She's passionate and was wonderful with our 14 and 10 year olds. Their favorite part of Rome was the time spent with Marta. Don't hesitate to book through this service. All in all we would recommend to anyone- family, couples etc. Biggest bonus- a washer AND dryer in the apartment! We used it very frequently as the Rome stay was in the middle of our trip so we had a ton of laundry to do! We can't wait to come back and would absolutely book through Alta Luxury Apartments again in a heartbeat.

We have rented apartments around the world for 30+ years and this one gets first prize in all categories. The location, a few blocks from the Spanish Steps, puts you within walking distance of most of Rome’s historic sites not to mention the finest restaurants and upscale shopping areas. We normally stay for a month or two so we look for places that have all the amenities for extended visits. This has all the bells and whistles from a gourmet equipped kitchen to large state of the art bathrooms. I was impressed that Eduardo had gone to the trouble to provide instruction in several languages on the operation of the various appliances; helpful hints; restaurant recommendation, etc. We spend a month or two in Rome every year or two and we will look no further as we have found the best located, best equipped and most comfortable spot. Eduardo showed us the other apartments they have available and they are all great.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The apartment is just as pictured, clean, elegant, cozy and warm. It is tastefully decorated, and combines an old world charm with modern amenities. We are a family of four and my husband and two teenage sons had enough space to be comfortable. We loved the modern bathrooms and kitchen, which had a Nespresso machine and all the necessary cooking utensils. Edoardo suggested a grocery store nearby and there is also a small farmer’s market, so it was a pleasure to have breakfast around the dining table and cook dinner at home on some nights. The location was also great. It is walking distance to most tourist attractions, shopping and restaurants and if you need to, there is a taxi stand 5 minutes down the street. It is a busy neighborhood with one of the main shopping streets right around the corner, but the street itself is very quiet and the apartment does not get any street noise. Edoardo was an excellent host. He replied to all my emails within an hour, arranged for our transfers to and from the airport, booked us an extra cleaning, and gave many helpful suggestions for great neighborhood restaurants and covid testing. He even printed out the documents we needed for travel when I wrote to him late in the evening before our departure. Overall, we had a great experience, and would love to one day come back and stay at the same place.

We cannot stop talking about Edoardo and his Vrbo apartment. It truly is the best and only place you should stay at. The apartment is located in the heart of Rome with everything either walking distance or a short cab ride. The apartment itself is beyond beautiful! Talk about detail. It was a mix between cultural and luxury. Nothing was forgotten. The beds are so comfortable. My mother in law stated she felt like she was at home. I also cannot express how grateful we were for Edoardo. He truly is the best of the best! He set up our pick up from the train station as well as our drop off at the airport. He suggested restaurants that he has visited himself and they were all so delicious. He provided the closest grocery store as well. Due to the pandemic, we needed to get covid tested. He was able to assist us in the arrangements as well. If I could give this place and Edoardo a 10 stars I would!! We will be back and will only work with Edoardo! Thank you for the best experience ever!!

We were happy to be among the first to stay in this residence after the COVID-19 pandemic. The apartment is outstanding! Clean, spacious, excellent air conditioning in all rooms, fantastic location, quiet at night, amazing shower. This was perfect for our group of six (three bedrooms, two bathrooms). I highly recommend this property! Eduoardo manages the property and does an outstanding job. Very quick communication before and during the trip. Extremely helpful with anything we needed (e.g., airport transfers, advice on restaurants, questions about the property). When there was a small problem with something in the apartment (which is natural because it had not been used during the pandemic), he came within an hour since he lives nearby. Eduoardo is the type of person who takes extreme pride in his job and is such a positive person.

Hier passt einfach alles zusammen: 1. Die Lage der Wohnung - 300 Meter von der Spanischen Treppe, 10 Gehminuten zum Trevibrunnen, 15 Minuten zum Pantheon und Piazza Navona, das Leben, die Bars, die Shops, alles ist da. Trotz dieser zentralen Lage ist es im Inneren der Wohnung wie in einer Oase ruhig, da sie zum Hinterhof liegt. Dennoch kommt durch die großen Fenster viel Luft herein, keine unangenehmen Gerüche, alles wunderbar. 2. Die Ausstattung Wunderbar römisch schön eingerichtet, Bett mit sehr guter Matratze. Beide Badezimmer sind sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet, die Küche hat Miele Geräte (z. B. ein eingebauter Miele- Nespressoautomat) und einen wunderschönen Granit. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr gemütlich, man kann sich zwischen den Besichtigungen wunderbar erholen. Auch das kleinere Schlafzimmer ist ausreichend (wir waren mit unserer 16 jährigen Patentochter unterwegs, die das Zimmer sehr geschätzt hat). Die Wohnung liegt im dritten Stock eines herrschaftlichen Hauses mit hohen Stockwerken und hohen Räumen. Ein Aufzug ist vorhanden, der einwandfrei funktioniert. 3. Transport und Service Es empfiehlt sich, den von unserem Vermieter Eduardo angebotenen Flughafen-Transport dazuzubuchen. Dieser ist sehr pünktlich und kostet nur 10 Euro mehr als das normale Taxi. Es hat den Vorteil, dass sich der Fahrer mit Eduardo abspricht, und Eduardo bei Ankunft bereits vor der Tür steht, um einen zu empfangen. Genauso bei der Abfahrt. Eduardo kümmert sich um alles sehr freundlich, schnell und effektiv. Als die Kaffeemaschine eine kleine Funktionsstörung hatte, wurde diese innerhalb einer Stunde behoben. Eduardo gibt gute Tipps und ist jederzeit über Handy oder e-Mail erreichbar und antwortet sofort. Die Wohnung ist ihren Preis mit total wert, wenn man bedenkt, was ein kleines, vergleichbar gut ausgestattetes Hotelzimmer in Rom kostet, ist der Preis völlig in Ordnung - vor allen Dingen bekommt aber auch die entsprechende Gegenleistung dafür. Für uns also ein Volltreffer, eine absolute Weiterempfehlung.

The apartment is exactly as pictured — wonderfully comfortable and roomy, with very modern and beautiful kitchen, both rooms, and laundry. The location is perfect. Steps from the Piazza di Popolo, around the corner from a collection of reasonably priced and friendly restaurants. Just a few yards from the best gelato at Grachhi. And two block from a very well stocked mini market, and another block away from a full Carrefour supermarket. The nighborhood is family friendly, safe, and delightful at night. As wonderful as the apartment is, the host Edorado Gallo is what makes staying in this apartment the most wonderful experience we have ever had in a rental, on any continent. Edoardo is extremely knowledgeable and connected to the best tour guides, chefs, restaurants, and sites within and beyond Rome. His sincerest desire to to serve you as would a concierge at a luxury hotel. He was particularly helpful in working with the gluten allergy of our son - suggesting markets and restaurants where he could get the best gluten free pizza, pasta and dairy free ice cream. The private tour guides he facilitated were all wonderfully capable and friendly. One in particulate, Marta Polumbi, was exceptionally friendly, warm, and knowledgeable about all things Rome, and worked very hard to make things relevant to our 13 year old son. We now consider her a friend of the family. In short, if the fee is within your budget, you definitely should take this apartment, and work with Eduardo. If you do, I believe you will have as magical a trip as we did.

This gorgeous apartment is ideally located near the Spanish Steps and the Piazza de Popolo, making it the perfect location for our vacation in Rome! The proximity to the top sights, best shopping and restaurants was outstanding. We couldn’t have had a better location! The apartment is also gorgeous and the photos are a great representation. The furniture and art are charming, the bedding comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms are modern. Love the master bathroom shower! We put the kitchen and dining room to good use by hiring a private chef for a family and friends dinner one night for a special Roman meal. Edoardo (host) made the arrangements, and it was a most memorable (and delicious!) evening! Edoardo also made our airport transportation arrangements, and his drivers were prompt and professional. He also secured a private guide for the Vatican with one of the best tour companies in town. He’s quite exceptional as a host! Loved the holiday, the apartment and the service! Highly recommend!

This beautiful property is well decorated to a very high standard. Once you enter the courtyard, you feel taken away from the bustle and noise of this charming city. It is quiet and peaceful and enchanting. We are on our 4th visit to Rome, having previously stayed at the Sofitel at the Spanish Steps, and at the Intercontinental. This apartment gave us, a family of 3, freedom and privacy from being cooped in hotel bedrooms and lobbies; and yet we enjoyed the high standard of décor, art and comfort in the apartment. The café “Manieschi” next door is fabulous and a quality “Pasticceria” with quality pastries (Cassata Siciliana), ice-creams, croissants, and coffee. Manieschi even does a limited amount of good quality sandwiches and hot food. Ristorante alla Alfredo is about 150 metres away, worth going there for the “fettuccini alla Alfredo”. This property exudes taste and quality and an ideal position for Rome. We have stayed in Executive villas in the Orlando (U.S), luxury villas in Nice (France) and in Crete (Greece), where we have rented luxury villas and this apartment for taste compares very well. Eduardo, the owner is a young man but very service minded and of the “old school refined manners” and politeness. He met us downstairs, and helped us to the elevator with our luggage. We met his parents (Daniela and Synthia) equally well mannered. Eduardo showed us the apartment and left his contact details with us. He was available for any help but discreetly left us after the introduction and we had privacy. On Friday, he called to say that his assistant would check us out and refund the deposit. Edoardo apologised for not seeing us off like a good host. Chato, his assistant was equally smooth and efficient. We are so happy that we would recommend this flat to anyone. The central location of the flat is 10 minutes (approx.) from the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Via Conditti. It is a walking distance from all the best 10 monuments of Rome and for those who like to take taxi’s, the taxi stand is not far and a taxi ride is €10 to €15. The opera too is not far. We enjoyed the TEATRO SALONE MARGHERITA ( Margherita of Savoia, King Umberto’s I wife). The flat is an excellent centre for tourists, theatre buffs, and shoppers. Eduardo offered to organise trips to Tivoli and Villa d’Este as well as the transfers to and from the airport. However after 3 trips, and being able to speak a little Italian, we could get by! We'd stay here again! Thanks Edoardo.

The apartment was gorgeous. There were three bedrooms with actual King-sized beds and a large shower in the master bedroom - just through a large walk-in closet. A washer and a dryer were available in a little room just off the master bedroom. Clothes also dried very well there on racks during the daytime. And for those also with a teenage boy that just needs Netflix after a very full day around the ruins - yes the flat screen has a dongle. But, as another reviewer mentioned, Edoardo is outstanding. He is a very polite, helpful and organized man. We had been communicating for 6 months prior to our vacation as I was not getting what I wanted with my travel agent. He works with a tour company and arranged the tours for our family, working out all the details quickly. He also arranged transportation to the airport for our departure. Ten minutes prior American Airlines canceled our flight home and I was unable to use my phone to make a call. Thankfully Edoardo let me us his. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future, or perhaps the other property managed by Edoardo. If you are a picky person with very high expectations, this is the place for you.

This is a spacious apartment that sleeps 6. We were a family of 4 and had such an amazing time. This is a luxury apartment with all the amenities you can imagine. I can't say enough about the owner Edoardo, he is a classy gentleman and his assistance with the tours he suggested and the reservations he made for us for dinner, were above and beyond our expectations. This is the best location you can imaging near everything. The Spanish Steps, Tevi Fountain and endless shops and restaurants. Trust Edoardo in any decision making you won't go wrong. The street by the front of the apartment is shut down with no cars traveling which makes it so nice with street dancers and other talented people always nearby to make you smile and laugh. Trust me you will be living, loving and laughing your way through Rome is this impeccably clean apartment.

This luxury apt was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated with antiques, and was in prime location to all major Rome sites - most within walking distance! What an incredibly peaceful place to stay. We felt truly pampered in the spa like baths and very comfortable in the beautifully appointed kitchen with high end upgrades. But the best part of our stay were our wonderful hosts, Edoardo & Daniele!! They couldn't have been nicer! They were so welcoming - especially to our 5 young children - and immediately made us feel more like family than guests. They were ready to help us with any requests we had from the moment we first booked our reservation months ahead, to the very last day we were there. Their apartment was was just steps from Piazza Del Poppolo and within easy walking distance to Spanish Steps, Pantheon, the Vatican, amazing restaurants and fabulous shopping on Via Corso. We felt pampered in this luxurious apt which was in a very secure building. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer, but definitely plan to return on our next trip and stay for many more nights! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this apt and it's gracious hosts!!! 5 STAR!!! First, everything everyone has said about the quality of this apartment and its location is true. However, I wish to add something about the extraordinary care and attention that Edoardo and his family provided for me. Unfortunately, I had a fall while visiting, unnerving in any context, but particularly in a foreign country when you don't speak the language. Edoardo responded to an urgent email immediately, arranged the ambulance and then followed me to the hospital where he stayed for the entire five hour A and E marathon, acting as intermediary and translator. He then arranged a taxi back to the apartment and checked later that I was OK...he simply could not have done more and I am eternally grateful to him and his family for their help and support when I need it most. No five star hotel could have or would have done more.

This is our second stay at this wonderful property. What is even more impressive, is the landlord Eduardo. I have mobility problems and am in a wheelchair a lot of the time. Eduardo kindly got 2 ramps to enable me to get to the lift more easily. I had my own wheelchair. But, he also got me a small wheelchair to ease my movement inside the property particularly the bathroom. Eduardo has an eye for detail and caters for what one would say "home from home". Eduardo is always available for any problems and he responds straight away. The property is immaculate and of a very high luxury standard. We have rented luxury properties in US, Crete, France, and Cyprus. To rent this property twice speaks volumes. Each time for 7 days and now 10 days. The great surrounding area, the cafe and the several restaurants attract us to it. Tourist locations are a stones throw away as is great shopping. We will stay there again.

My family and I had the true pleasure of staying at this lovely apartment conveniently located right around the corner from Piazza Del Popolo. I must admit that when I found this property on VRBO, I was a bit skeptical because of all the fantastic reviews the property and owner consistently received. I can tell you, from our experience, that all the reviews were completely true and very accurate. From the moment we booked the apartment, Edoardo made the whole process seamless and was extremely responsive to all questions (and there were alot). He assisted with coordinating all of our tours, recommended restaurants, set-up transportation to and from the airport in Rome and when we had questions during our stay, Edoardo responded within minutes to our needs. I have never experienced anyone who cares so much for his clients and goes above and beyond to make you feel like a local. As for the apartment, it was exactly as advertised. The apartment is located on a very quiet street but strategically placed right next to all the action. From the apartment you can walk to all the major sites within Rome. As soon as you enter the apartment, you really appreciate the effort that Edoardo has put into making this feel like your Roman home. The furnishings are well appointed, there is a fully functional kitchen (which we took advantage of for breakfast every day), and the three bedrooms are really nice and the beds were very comfortable. Pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, gelato and general shopping are moments from the apartment. The tour company that Edoardo partners with for his clients was excellent. The tour guides are all very well educated, have a tremendous grasp on Roman history and really help you understand the most important parts of the sites visited. We started with the Ancient Rome Tour (with Michela), went on the Vatican Relax Tour (with Elisa), Borghese Gallery Tour (with Katie a transplanted Californian) and we finished with the Catacombs Tour (with Dennis). Each and every tour was spectacular and very insightful for my 13 and 16 year-old children. The guides kept each tour interesting and they were all very engaging professionals. Overall, I would highly recommend this property and I look forward to staying at Edoardo’s second property in Rome when we return.

WOW – We truly enjoyed our three night stay in this exceptional luxury 3 bedroom – two bath rental in the middle of everything in Rome = and around the corner from the Spanish Steps. Trevi Fountain etc…I have a lot to say about how well appointed the apartment was,,, Large bedrooms, huge master bath – foyer, kitchen with a breezy window and living room- But what really stands out for this apartment rental was Edoardo Gallo – the youthful owner who made this so easy/ breezy and helpful. From the minute I contacted Edoardo, months before our rental, he responded right away. I was able to email him from my work email (a lot) in the states and get quick and specific info and help … For example = we took him up on his offer to use a van service that he knew of for a transfer from the airport to his apartment. And I was so glad (as we were traveling with our 87Yr old aunt)... so right as soon as we got through the baggage area – there was our transfer person waiting - Easy! (The apartment is in an area just around the corner from a taxi “stand” and there is a way to drive to it –but again – we needed the easy way – and we got it) We needed more coffee pods for the wonderful Nepresso machine – voila – email to Edorado and there they were! Also, I told Edoardo that I needed to have the three of us to see Vatican museum/ St Paul’s and it was getting difficult to get the reservations etc. He offer to help with a private guide ~ which was wonderful – ( he was a great guide and we zipped in and saw and got out three hours later ~just what we wanted ) But the BIGGEST help that afternoon – (at the Vatican tour) was Edoardo’s extraordinary help. Here is what happened…(by no fault) my husband’s work/life/ personal iphone fell out of his pouch into the cab as we exited the cab at the Vatican – … This was realized just as the cabbie pulled off-- (everyone ran after the cab but missed her ) – W e all tried and tried calling etc… but nothing – we didn’t know that cabbie or name or anything ,,, So-- In this chaos - I emailed Edoardo = HELP! and while we were touring the Vatican– he repeatedly called my husband’s cell – and then got the lady cabbie – connected with her and got my husbands’ phone back right as we ended the three hour tour AMAZING! What service ? Not even the Ritz Carlton or other high end hotels would have invested that kind of time to help us….I would stay with Edorado in Rome again even if I only “NEEDED” a smaller place!! Love it!

We stayed at this property for our Christmas Holidays. Traveling from NY to Rome. This was a much better option than a hotel for a family of 4. We were all together, yet we had our own beautiful rooms. We were worried as this was our first international VRBO, and thought the pictures may not represent the actual accommodations. However, in this case THE PICTURES did NOT lie! The accommodations were updated, beautiful and elegant. We were very comfortable, having our own rooms, kitchen and lounging area. Simply beautiful! If that is not enough of a recommendation, working with Eduardo was an absolute pleasure. Eduardo was incredibly responsive to any and all of our questions with regard to what to bring (i.e. hand held blow/hair dryer was in room, linens, etc.). It was all there! He also arranged for transfers to and from the airport for us which were on time and reliable. This was an amazing location where we could walk to every tourist and local attraction. One word will sum up our vacation at this location and the staff -- particularly Eduardo. PERFECT! Highly recommend and we will be back.

We booked this apartment for a pre-cruise stay in Rome, having searched various sites. We just kept going back to this one based on prior reviews, and we can't say enough good things about our stay. We are in the hospitality business, operating a top ranked bed and breakfast and boutique hotel in Upstate New York, and we can recognize genuine customer care and high quality lodgings and we got it here and more. First let me say there were three of us and very few (if any) hotels have rooms that can accommodate three people. Those that do cost a fortune! So this stay was a great value, as well although there was no skimping on furnishings or amenities. The level of taste and care Eduardo clearly put into the apartment's renovation shows, and his care in working with his clients starts from first contact through check out gave us great confidence that our stay would be wonderful. He arranged car services to both pick us up at the airport and take us to the cruise terminal. The apartment itself couldn't be more well located right off the Via Del Corso. It is fitted out with everything one could want or need. Even though the apartment is in a centrally located, There was never an issue with noise. Quite the contrary as we enjoyed peaceful nights' sleep for each of our three nights (including one night with an amazing thunderstorm). Coming "home" at the end of a busy day to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner was a real treat. We already have plans to rent Eduardo's other apartment by the Piazza Del Popolo in June, and after this stay we are so excited to stay at the other apartment. Just cannot say enough good things about Eduardo and the Piazza di Spagna apartment. Do NOT hesitate to book your stay here. You'll be thrilled you did!

Amazing flat, great location, excellent host. Me and my family stayed at the flat for 4 nights. It was my parents, my 2 brothers and my wife and 6 month daughter. The flat is so spacious and well proportioned that everyone had plenty of their own space. Edoardo kindly provided a cot for our baby. Our ensuite bedroom was ideal for family with young baby. The flat is renovated to great standards and taste. The location is fantastic. Very close to the Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish steps, the historic centre, the Vatican. Exactly what you want if you want to experience Rome and be able to wander around and enjoy the city centre. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes/bars nearby. Edoardo was a great host. Very friendly, helpful and discrete. He waited for us and informed us about the area and the flat. He arranged for our car transfers from/to the airport. After reading so many wonderful reviews, my family decided to book a stay at this charming apartment. We were not disappointed! Edoardo is a wonderful host. He arranged for private transfer to and from the airport, suggested delicious restaurants and activities, and was very accommodating to our needs. The apartment is spotless and located as central as you could be in the heart of northern Rome. My wife and daughters loved the shopping (right in the heart of the "shopping triangle" and I loved the convenience. So close to everything. We walked to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Vatican. There is a great grocery within a few minutes walk, where we purchased vino and food for breakfasts. Everything was VERY convenient. We will be back and greatly appreciate the attention to detail that Edoardo provided. Oh, and the AC rocked! We spoiled Americans enjoyed that!

Oh my goodness, what a find! Edoardo Gallo, owner, has lovingly and beautifully restored the 2 bedroom apartment in which we stayed. We loved both the apartment, its accoutrements, and the location. We have been to Rome many times, and found the location to be the best we have experienced. We love to walk, and were able to get to all parts of Rome easily. The living/dining room is extremely attractive and very comfortable. It is clear that Edoardo has great taste in assuring that all of the craftsmanship was done well. The kitchen, while compact, is well equipped, and even includes an nespresso machine. The beds in both bedrooms are very comfortable. Bedrooms are spacious. There is a washer and dryer, which was great news to us, after having been on the road for the last week. Edoardo greeted us and made himself available to help us in any way he possibly could. If it was possible, I would give this apartment 10 stars!

Our family of four (two being teens) thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. The apartment was spacious, extremely clean and welcoming. All of the surfaces (cabinetry, flooring, showers, kitchen appliances, etc.) are new and up to modern luxury standards. As for storage in the master bedroom, I've never seen a better closet in Europe! It was wonderful. The washer and drier are full sized and separate units which work very well. A hair drier was also provided as well as adequate linens. Our two teenagers enjoyed having their own private bedrooms with queen sized beds at the end of our busy days touring. The proprietor was very responsive and helpful. We had a small issue with low water pressure in one toilet and he came immediately to look into the situation. He also arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport and to take us back again at the end of our stay. He drove a nice sized van with plenty of room for us and our luggage. And lastly, the location of the apartment was ideal for us. Just off the Piazza del Popolo, we found lovely restaurants, shopping, banks, markets and a metro within a five minute walk or less. Even so near the activity, the apartment was very quiet, even on New Year's Eve (except for a few fireworks right at midnight, which was lovely). My family would very happily stay at Municipio 1 again. We tossed our coins into the Trevi Fountain to ensure another visit to Rome in the future, so hopefully we will have the opportunity.

This centrally located apartment was beautifully appointed and spotless. It also comes equipped with a state of the art kitchen and baths, and a full size washer/dryer. It easily accommodated the three of us. The apartment is ideally located near the Spanish Steps, shopping and many wonderful restaurants. It is also an easy walk to the major attractions such as the Vatican, Pantheon, Colosseum and Roman Forum but we found it very easy to catch a cab or Uber when we were pressed for time. Edoardo is a wonderful hands on host who very knowledgeable about Rome. Everything was handled most professionally from beginning to end. Do not hesitate to book this wonderful apartment for your visit to an amazing city!

We very much enjoyed our time at this property. The property’s location was perfect - with numerous historical sites within easy walking distance. The apartment itself was great. The 3 bedrooms were spacious, and everything in it was clean and modern. Large bathrooms, and while the kitchen is on the smaller side, we were able to easily made breakfast every morning. Kitchen was well stocked with just about everything needed to cook up proper meals. Edoardo was very helpful, and even arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. Would definitely recommend to anyone. This was a great apartment for our family of 4.

We had a wonderful experience staying in Edoardo's apartment. Communication before our arrival and throughout our stay was immediate and Edoardo arranged for transportation for our family of four to and from the airport in a spacious van. He met us at the apartment and went through every detail to make sure we'd be comfortable. The apartment is lovely, spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and modern and the kitchen, is perfectly serviceable for a cup of coffee before heading out for the day. The neighborhood might well be the best part. It's quaint, charming and walkable to much of the city. There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and upscale shopping in the immediate vicinity. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Edoardo's apartment and highly recommend it.

My family of 5 (3 kids) just spent 4 great nights in Rome at Edoardo's Piazza de Popolo apartment. Everything about the stay was first class - from the condition of the apartment, the location, ease of check-in/check-out.....everything. We loved the location next to Piazza de Popolo - close walk to everything but not "too close" so that you're in a sea of tourists. On top of it all, Edoardo is a huge help for your visit in Rome....he booked our ride to the airport, Colosseum & Vatican tours, as well as our driver to Positano. I don't know what was better-the beautiful property or Eduardo's great service. Prior to arrival, Eduardo communicated often with us to be sure of our timetable and what we hoped to do in Rome. He personally met our transfer van and took as much time as we needed to tour his perfect apartment. At the last minute we decided to make changes in some of the tours he helped schedule, and he handled it all without any problems. All of his scheduled drivers and tour guides were right on time and were true professionals. The apartment was perfect for our family of two adult couples. The master bathroom has a huge walk in closet and a shower that has to be seen to be believed. The other two bedrooms shared a large bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean and worked perfectly. The modern kitchen met all of our needs, although we did not use it for cooking as there were too many great restaurants nearby. The location is perfect, with major attractions and restaurants within easy walking distance. Part way through our stay Eduardo had his assistant stop by to see if we needed anything and to help us with the procedures to be used upon departure. If you plan to be in Rome, this property will satisfy even the most difficult to please renters. Bravo, Eduardo!!

There were six of us. 2 grandparents,2 parents and 2 children aged 6&9. All had a great time. Excellent location. Very family oriented appartment. Mainly we had breakfast in the very well equipped kitchen. Our host, Edoardo is excellent. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Enjoyed the private tours arranged by Edoardo as well as the limo rides from the airport to the appartment and from the appartment to our cruise location , also arranged by Edoardo, after spending 3 wonderful days in Rome.

We have only positive reviews for this unit for our family of 6. The place is large and roomy, so unusual in Europe. Big beds, beautiful bathrooms, and a nice kitchen equipped so you don't have to rush right out to the grocery. The beds are nice and big with extra pillows. Easy check in and out. Edoardo is extremely helpful and super quick to respond to any questions that come up. It's very nice to have a contact that you can get in touch with immediately. He also scheduled all of our tours, which were excellent. I highly recommend this unit or any of Edoardo's properties.

This apartment is spotlessly clean and lovely. Edoardo is a perfect and very accommodating host. He is always available to help with any matters that might arise or arrange anything you need. He is dependable and cares very much about his properties. He personally meets you upon your arrival and is there when you leave. The apartment is in the heart of the best part of the city so you can literally walk to anywhere from it. The two most famous shopping streets are right outside your door. It was so nice to be able to get to most places without relying on taxis or other modes of transportation. There are also some great restaurants right near the apartment. The apartment is decorated in the 17th century Roman style so you are surrounded with that true feeling you are really in Rome. However, the kitchen and baths are very modern and there is central heat and AC. You feel safe in this area. We enjoyed our stay and felt we could trust Edoardo which is important to us when renting in a foreign country. A perfect place to stay in Rome for two or four. It is quite spacious.

From the moment we contacted the owner, Edoardo Gallo, we knew that we had something very special. This is by far the best apartment we have rented in the 10 years we are visiting Rome. I would personally recommend Edoardo to anyone going to Rome. The apartment is luxurious, super clean, super new, and has every accommodation you can think of. It is within a 5 minute walk to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, and Piazza Navonna ( the night time strolls there are great). There is a ton of shopping close by and plenty of restaurants off the main road that make you feel like a local. You can get to the Roman Forum, Colosseum, and St. Peter's Basilica in a 15 minute walk, or for 6 Euro's, there is a taxi stand one block away from the apartment. Edoardo personally arranged for transportation from the train station to the apartment and was immediately there upon our arrival. He took care of all the luggage, gave us a tour of all the amenities of the apartment, including how to use the upgraded spa shower, nespresso machine that we probably used 5 times a day, washer, dryer, etc. As you will see from the pictures on the website, the apartment is brand new with every upgrade possible. Unlike many other apartments, the beds were true queen size beds in both bedrooms and very comfortable. The apartment is in a very safe area, and convenient to everything. About the owner. Most rentals send an agent to check you in, take your deposit, then come back in a week to check you out. Edoardo personally greeted us and provided his cell phone for anything we needed during our stay. He made restaurant recommendations and reservations, which were all very good. Not tourist traps, but excellent food, for excellent prices. He also helped make tour arrangements for us, and offered assistance on anything we needed while we stayed in Rome. He even texted us every few days to see how our visit was going and if there was anything that he could do to make our vacation more enjoyable. We not only rented the best apartment ever, but we feel like we got the royal treatment from a personal valet at no extra charge. On my next trip to anywhere close to Rome, Edoardo is the first and only call I will make knowing that I will be in a five star apartment without the five star cost, but I will also have the five star services of a top notch professional who I now call my friend.
